Dont buy it!

Purchased this to replace a 3 year old Moultrie D50. Setup was easy, but it has not taken any pictures. For a comparison I place a Moultrie D55 on the same tree above the N6C left it over night. The D55 had 171 pictures the next day of a pack of hogs that came into the feed, the N6C had not taken any pictures. After 5 days in the field and no pictures Returning for a refund!!!

Bad experience

Found a site that recommended this unit as #1 in price range. Bought 1st Aug 2011 set it out 2 weeks later had about 50 pics but many had black line thru them. Couple of day shots good, most night very blurry. Called AS man in hunting area said bad sensor bring it back. Got second of these Nov 1 2011 put it out 10 days later had 2 pics 1 blank black and white shot and 1 of me rolling up to take it down to return for money back. I sat in stand overlooking camera on opening youth season on 11th and had 10 to 12 deer all in front and around unit. It just does not work. Keep shopping sorry!!!

Great Camera for the Money

Before I took it to the deer lease, I played with the settings on the camera (using my dog in the backyard). To get the camera to trigger reliably (more often), I had to use the "high" PIR setting (instead of the default "medium"). Did notice that the PIR sensing width is pretty narrow - you couldn't get the camera to trigger if you were at the outer widths of the picture. An animal has to be almost straight ahead of the aimpoint to produce a trigger. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars rating. At the lease, it obtained lots of beautiful day and night pictures, all with animals in the pictures, and no whiteouts.

I bought one of these cameras after purchasing (8) Wild Game N3 cameras and I am very satisfied with it. Battery life maintained very well over an extended period of time. Wild Game Innovation Cameras are very easy to set-up and quality is superb for the price. I have expensive Leaf River Cameras and they dont even compare! With a 1200 acre farm in South Carolina and a 300 acre farm in Louisiana, I want to know my deer herd and THEY WORK!!

Unreliable

Camera worked only 3 days and half the pics were grainy and white. After the third day it would only take pics if you were within 2 feet of it. Had lots of tracks under feeder do to rain but it took no pics. This is a piece of junk and is deffinately going back. i will go back to using the cheap $49 game cam with flash that took great pics but ate batteries.

Good not Great

Wildgame Cameras are simple to use and easy to set up. However they are missing one key element......BURST MODE. The ability of a game camera to take multiple pics within seconds at one triggering is a huge advantage. Make sure you consider burst mode before buying a camera.
